We highly recommend you consider purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen personal and medical emergencies, unfavorable weather conditions, or other events that could create a need to change your travel plans. We do not endorse any specific plans, but there are many clearinghouse websites where you can search for travel insurance (for example, SquareMouth.com and InsureMyTrip.com). Your personal insurance agent or credit card company may also have options available. Carefully consider all plan details to choose a plan that is comprehensive enough for you. Some policies MAY offer “cancel for any reason” coverage, while others will be more restrictive.
Reservations are guaranteed with a deposit of one night’s lodging for each room reserved at the time of booking. Confirmation will be sent immediately (via email) upon receipt of payment.
New Reservation Cancellation / Change Policy (for reservations placed on or after April 1, 2020): 2 DAYS (a full 48-hours prior to the scheduled arrival date) notice / 2 or room rooms 7 DAYS (prior to scheduled arrival) notice (2 or more rooms/suites booked with the same credit card is considered a group reservation).
A hotel room is considered a ‘perishable’ commodity, for this reason, we are unable to issue refunds for cancellations or changes that do not meet our cancellation/change policy.
Please also note that we are unable to issue refunds, credits, or alter our cancellation policy due to illness, inclement weather, canceled flights, or due to the cancellation of a local event. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
For individual and group reservations, the person making the reservation assumes financial responsibility for all nights and rooms canceled (if canceled inside of 2/7 days). We will charge the guest (who placed the reservation) for all nights/rooms booked at the time of the cancelation (inside of 2/7 days).
All cancellations are subject to a 20% processing fee of 1-night rate.
Check-in from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Please advise us of early or late check-in so that special arrangements may be made (whenever possible).
Check out – 11:00 am. There may be an extra charge for late checks out; please inquire in advance.
Rates – All rates based on double occupancy, a charge of $49 per person / per night is charged for each additional person. An additional $17 per night is charged if daybed or hide-a-bed is required for double occupancy (please alert us prior to arrival if you would like the daybed or hide-a-bed made up). Rates do not include the 11.80% Lodging Taxes. Rates are subject to change without notice.
Group Reservation – The person making the reservations, will be our contact person for your group’s reservation. Two or more rooms/suites reserved using the same credit card is considered a “Group Reservation” and is subject to the group reservation cancellation policy. The group policy applies to cancel (or alter) of any and/or all rooms within the group reservation.
No-shows are charged full price for each night reserved for the entire reservation. We are unable to give refunds for late arrivals or early departures of confirmed reservation dates.
We reserve the right to alter or cancel reservations that are improperly priced due to clerical errors within our automated online reservation system (or on 3rd party sites).
Seasonal Breakfast Service
March 1st – October 31st: a delightful two-course breakfast is served from 8:30 am to 9:30 am
November 1st – February 28/29th: NO BREAKFAST is included during our reduced ‘Quiet Season’ winter rates (freshly ground coffee and gourmet teas are available).Children – Your child’s safety is our utmost concern, for this reason, and for the comfort of our guests, we only accept children 12 and older.
Smoking- outdoors in our courtyard is permitted in designated areas. Smoking of any substance inside the hotel will be subject to a $500 cleaning fee.
We have free Wifi & cable music channels, but no televisions on the premise.
Rooms 3, 5, 6 & 7 are upstairs (with no elevator). We are happy to carry your bags upstairs for your during staffed front desk hours. Room 1 & 2 are downstairs, we encourage guests with issues in climbing stairs to book either room 1 (wheelchair accessible) or room 2.
Please note: renting guest rooms or suites for the purpose of parties or other group gatherings is prohibited.
Peerless Restaurant & Bar: in 2020 we sold the restaurant to our longtime chef Harlan Brooks. We highly recommend the restaurant, but the Hotel no longer owns it (we do still share the lovely gardens with the restaurant and guests are welcome to use the gardens between the hotel and restaurant until 5 pm).
Tesla Charging Station: Tesla (only) charging station is not a guaranteed amenity and is available to overnight Hotel guests only. The charger is available on a “FIRST COME” bases and we are unable to 100% guarantee that it will be available, nor can we pre-reserve the 3 spaces that it will reach in our parking lot.
Pets— We love pets, but sorry no pets are allowed in rooms or on Hotel grounds (this includes parking areas). Please note: Dogs or therapy animals whose function it is to provide comfort, emotional support, or companionship do not qualify as service animals according to the ADA.
Service animals policy— Service animals are allowed to accompany people with disabilities in the lobby, in sleeping rooms and any area open to the general public. Upon entering our business, you may be asked (by law):
